StageReady exists for artists who need more than a standard website. The job is to create a digital presence that feels true to the artist and makes the right impression on the people who actually matter.
Projects are often built in Next.js when performance and flexibility matter. StageReady also works with Shopify and WordPress when they are the right fit, but not as a builder-first studio relying on heavy page builders.
StageReady Web is a boutique web studio in Kolding, Denmark, founded in 2024 by Stephen Skouboe. The studio builds custom-coded websites for musicians, artists, and bands that need stronger booking flow, press clarity, and professional positioning across Denmark and international markets.
StageReady Web exists because many musicians do not lack talent. They lack a digital base that actually shows who they are. Too many sites are either too generic, too template-driven, or too weak to make the right impression on bookers, press, and collaborators.
My partner is a professional musician. That gives me direct insight into what a music career actually demands day to day, from packed schedules and press requests to the need for one clear link that both feels right and explains the project properly.
That is why the work is not only about design and pages. It is about shaping a digital extension of the artist's sound, identity, and professional direction so the site both works and feels right. When it serves the project best, the websites are built in custom code and often in Next.js for better performance, clearer structure, and longer-term flexibility.
